Three Stages Of Mind Before Enlightenment/ Nirvana By OSHO

Stages Of Enlightenment By OSHO

So here i am going to write down Osho's Words in which he is explaining the Stages of Enlightenment and when one attains Perfect Nirvana as Gautam Buddha. So let's Explore.
Stages Of Enlightenment, Enlightenment Meditation, Buddhism, Osho

First Stage: Mini Satori

It's called Mini Satori in Jain Scriptures Although no name should be given to these Experiences but for an unenlightened human, the words are necessary to use. OSHO says This mini Satori happens when for a single moment mind is not functioning, when for a single moment there is no Thought in your mind and when there is no Thought then there is no sense of "i" in your mind and then you and existence became one but just for a single moment. You experience the glimpse of truth. You merge into the existence, you are no longer a body in mini Satori. But this experience of mini Satori remains only for a few moments and then you come back to your normal Consciousness of body. Mini Satori helps you to find out the way to go into it again Because now after experiencing the glimpse you can recognise that how it happened and in what situation it happened and if you do that again then it will surely again happen.

Second Stage: Satori

Satori is when, when you are able to go into it by your choice. In mini Satori you are a little confuse that how it happened but in Satori, now you Perfectly know the way to Attain that state just by making a little efforts. But efforts are still needed on your part to go beyond the Mind. In Satori State you can go and come back by your choice, whenever and wherever you are makes no difference to you and you can have that state in any situation. But still you are not always in that state of Satori, you have to be calm to go into it, you have to make a little effort to call the state of Satori. Then happens the third and last stage.

Third Stage: Samadhi

When by and by you are able to call Satori just by making a little effort on your part then as time passes, the Satori becomes spontaneous and then it called Sahaj Samadhi in Hinduism. Sahaj Samadhi is when, when it makes no difference to you either your eyes are closed or open, either you are doing work and sitting silently, either someone is around you or you are alone but still you are in Samadhi, you are in utter aloneness, you are in peace, that peace cannot be touched by outer world, no one can make your mind angry or whatever because there is no mind in you at the State of Sahaj Samadhi.

Last: Nirvana

Now even Samadhi cease to be in you, now you are no more there who will Experience any peace or any samadhi or whatever you may call it. Now your "i" is utterly dead, now you cannot say the word "i" for you Because there is no you. You became the whole universe, you are one with the existence and existence is not individual at all. Individual is ego and your ego ceased to be. Nirvana is actually the death of your ego and your mind. There is no Mind and there is no ego hence there is no Lust, anger, greed, Grieve, sorrow in you.

Buddha Story

There is a story of buddha written in Buddhist Scriptures Although it is not real life story of Gautam Buddha but osho gave much importance to this story and through this story he tries to Explain that how compassionate buddha is. He says Buddha's compassion cannot be described by the words but this story did as much as one can do to describe.

The story starts with when the door of heaven is open for Gautam Buddha but Buddha refused to go in and God is saying that Buddha come in heaven and live with me in peace, in happiness and leave the world that is Full of sorrow but instead of going in heaven Buddha says No, There are many people in the world that is Full of sorrow I can't leave them all behind hence I will go into the world and will show people the path that goes Directly to heaven/Nirvana and i want to be the last one who will enter in this door of heaven and Before me, i want all people to enter this door.
Osho says that this is just a imaginary story otherwise no one came back to the world once the Nirvana is achieved by him. So Buddha cannot came back even if he wants, he cannot came back to the world because now there is no mind in Buddha to think of taking birth again. Now Buddha is no mind and living eternally in peach, in bliss of existence.
